Gary King, Ricardo Toris & Greg Loper.
Gary King received his undergraduate degree in Urban Planning from California Polytechnic University at Pomona. Before joining Jennings, Strouss and Salmon, and subsequently Earl & Curley, Gary worked for 4 years as a redevelopment planner in Arcadia and Burbank, California, and for 4 years in the Long-Range Planning and Site Plan Review Divisions of the City of Phoenix.
Gary King has over 35 years in the public and private sectors. His varied experiences working for and later with municipalities provides him with a background uniquely suited to serve the needs of our clients. He has extensive experience in project management, preparation of zoning entitlement documents, drafting of public review documents, site planning, site and design review analysis, land plan development, public and private involvement, and neighborhood outreach. Gary is a member of the American Planning Association.
Ricardo Toris received his undergraduate degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State University. Prior to joining Earl & Curley, Ricardo worked over 8 years in public sector residential, commercial, office and industrial planning. He was a senior planner for the City of Glendale, Arizona for 5 ½ years, and prior to that a planner for the City of Surprise for 2-1/2 years. Before moving to the public sector, Ricardo was employed by a private planning consulting firm here in Arizona for 2 years
Ricardo Toris has over 20 years of professional experience and leadership. His professional experience provides him with an extensive knowledge of the varying requirements of municipalities and governmental departments. Ricardo’s experience consists of project management, preparation of zoning entitlement documents, drafting of public review documents, site planning, site and design review analysis, land plan development, public and private involvement, neighborhood outreach, public speaking, neighborhood negotiations, and the successful management of the regulatory review process. Ricardo is a member of the American Planning Association.
Greg Loper received his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and his Master’s degree fromNorthern Arizona University in Land Use Planning and Management Development. Before joining Earl & Curley, Greg worked in a variety of private and public planning roles. He was Senior Land Development Planner for David Evans and Associates, Inc., Director of Development for Scott Communities, Senior Land Entitlement & Development Project Manager for Richmond American Homes, and Planning Director for Navajo County. He currently serves on the Maricopa County Board ofAdjustment and served on the City of Peoria Planning Commission for 13 years. Greg has over 20 years of experience in planning, land development and related fields and is a member of the American Planning Association.
